Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Trinetra application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Trinetra is operated by Project Trinetra, a product of Unravel The Love ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Trinetra is a community disaster resilience platform that provides AI-powered early warning, preparedness missions, safety circle coordination, and property compliance assessment. The App is designed for informational and preparedness purposes and should not be used as a sole source for emergency decision-making. Always follow official guidance from local emergency authorities (FEMA, NWS, local fire/police departments).

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Waitlist & District Activation

Trinetra operates a district-based activation model. Users outside active pilot districts are placed on a global waitlist and receive limited functionality (Luminous Feed, disaster monitoring, Coach Kai, preparedness guides). Full features (property inspections, mitigation hikes, Prana recognition) become available when your district is activated. Prana recorded during the waitlist period is kept on your account and, like all Prana, has no monetary value.

5. Prana Token Ecosystem

Prana is an internal reward token earned through preparedness actions, stewardship missions, and community participation. Prana has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Prana balances are tracked on a hash-chained, append-only Truth Ledger for transparency. We reserve the right to modify the Prana reward structure, token economics, and redemption options at any time.

6. Property Inspections & Compliance

Property compliance assessments are based on NFPA 1144 and Berkeley EMBER standards. AI-generated assessments are advisory and do not constitute professional inspections. On-device AI processing (Liquid AI models) is used when possible to protect privacy. Results may be reviewed by human inspectors through the manual override system. Compliance status may be shared with insurance partners only with your explicit consent through the Verification-as-a-Service (VaaS) system.

7. Location Data

Certain features require access to your device location (near-me alerts, GPS property detection, safety circles). Location data is used for:

• Proximity-based disaster alerts.
• Safety circle coordination.
• District zone determination.
• Property address verification.

You can control location sharing in the Privacy & Security settings. We do not sell location data to third parties.

8. On-Device AI & Data Sovereignty

Trinetra uses on-device AI models (Liquid AI LFM2.5) for privacy-preserving inference. Property photos and sensitive data are processed locally on your device whenever possible. When cloud processing is required, it currently runs on Google Cloud (Gemini); a self-hosted, sovereign configuration exists in the software for customer-operated deployments but is not what powers the public app today. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

9. Safety Circles

Safety Circles allow you to share location and receive alerts with trusted contacts. You control who is in your circle and what information is shared. Circle members can see your approximate location and safety status during active alerts. You can leave a circle or revoke sharing at any time.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading property inspection data.
• Manipulate the Prana reward system.
• Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App.
• Use automated systems to interact with the App.
• Misrepresent your identity or professional qualifications.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of disaster alerts, weather data, or AI-generated assessments. Trinetra supplements but does not replace official emergency services. In an emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency number first.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Trinetra and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alameda County, California.
