Why ask for the feed and not just the news

A published article is a snapshot; a fire keeps changing after it goes to press. On 25 September 2026 we asked an AI assistant about fires near the San Francisco Bay Area. It answered well from news coverage — and reported the Plaskett Fire as 37% contained. The official interagency feed said 98% at that same moment.

Neither source was wrong. One was current. Pointing your assistant at the feed is how you get the second kind of answer — and it is the same data the agencies publish, relayed unchanged.

Alerts and orders	Trinetra issues none. It reports what official sources currently publish.
Whether to evacuate	That decision comes from an official order, never from this data.
